My husband and I use it for movies and to get access to our local TV stations--no more paying for cable! We use it pretty much everyday and love it. And the remote works really well. You have to pay subscriptions fees for most of the good channels (as far as I can tell), but it's still a great deal, especially if you'd be using these aps/channels on other devices anyway. We used to stream movies on our Xbox, and the Xbox was always so noisy... the Roku box itself is silent. What a nice change. And the quality of the streaming itself is consistently strong--we rarely have any problems with lag or the video freezing or anything like that.

i use roku 3 for netflicks and weather radar primarily. it is fast! and responsive! if you watch tv in more than one room, roku 3 won't cover it!! it is not really a part of my home network. i can't access the usb port from other devices, and the roku 3 can't access files from other places on my network.
Pros: Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Response To Clicks, Simple Controls, Fast Setup
Cons: Needs A Subtitle Button

This was a gift. I really like this very much,as it allows me to watch a lot of my old fav's. and see all the ones I missed along the way. I think it rivals Cable. I have been busy this summer,but as fall and winter approach I will use it much more. Very well priced and easy to use. thanks for a great product.
