Roku 3 - best thing until Roku 4 comes

Small footprint. Great design. Responsive remote control. Flexible connection using CAT5 when convenient and available, but WIFI if not.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup

I love the idea that I could still watch movies that I want to watch and not have to pay for premium cable access. I was disappointed however, that the roku ONLY supports HDMI for 5.1 audio and my 6 year old Yamaha a/v receiver doesn't have HDMI inputs or outputs.. I almost considered buying a new receiver but said the hell with it.
Pros: Hookup Was Easy, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Incredible When It Works, Angry Birds Included, Box Takes Up Little Space
Cons: No Hd Optical Audio Outpu, Does Not Improve Audio/Video, Often Glitches, Must Unplug Then Reboot

What a pleasant surprise!

Purchased the Roku 3 after using the Original Roku box for almost 4 years. What a wonderful experience. The setup was simple and the speed it streams is 5 times as fast as before. There are no drop outs or stutters any more. We use the Roku to view selections from Netflix, Amazon, Ted videos and a few other channels. But the channel store is full of lots of great selections if we want to see more.

Product is great when its not displaying a "content unauthorized or disabled content. I constantly have to power down and reset.

A friend told me about ROKU....I thought it CAN'T be that GOOD.....So I ordered a ROKU 2 XS.....Had it for two years Loved it.....It paid for itself the first month. Then they came out with the ROKU 3....had to have it. Gave away the XS... Am VERY Satisfied with the ROKU 3.....Waiting on the ROKU 4.....I'LL BUY IT ..ASAP.
