Netflix, Amazon, A variety of other programs from your extensive selection of choices. good source of foreign content. Quality exceeds my APPLE TV which I use less and less. Apple TV is better at playing my excessive library of music .(7000 songs and Audio books 400 plus while viewing photos ,7000 plus on my wide screen TV) The Amazon Plus reduces the cost of rentals and the quality is great with Roku3.

Roku 2 has a better upgrade than Roku 3. No caption on Roku 3. Roku 3 Dual Band is great. Love the remote when play Angry Bird Space.

A big thing in a little package

Setup was easy except for the time it took to enter information with the remote. The user interface is simple and functional. There is a ton of content to view. The only downside so far is that I've experienced occasional reboots of the Roku for no apparent reason.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup
Cons: Reboots Itself

We can watch whatever whenever. It's pure choice. Got rid of cable bill. Monthly bill is less than half the cost. The only thing con for us is the lack of a keyboard. App for mobile phone is worthless. Clicking on each letter for a search is a pain but very much minimal compared to the positives.

I ditched cable all together (good riddance)and use Roku as an internet video portal. Works great, easy set up, good quality and content. Only gripe is not being able to stream content from a PC. Can do this through PLEX, but is pretty cumbersome.

I should have done this years ago. Cut my cable bill to $52.00 a month. Add a Netflix account for $8 a month and this thing is saving me a boat load of money. Absolutely best money-saving purchase I have made in a long time. Works great!!!
