mainly netflix and hulu. There are lots of stations that I will never use. HBO Go is a great feature as well as the MSNBC news shorts

If you're looking to break the chains of your cable provider, Roku is most liberating. With a growing number of channels, (many of them free), HD 1080 quality picture, and low cost, it is the ultimate remedy to cure your cable woes. I highly recommend it.

Many things are available. you just have to search for many of the features available. Recommend Roku provide a listing of the available items like the using the USB connection, and making media stream from your computer to your TV through the Roku 3.

This has become our main entertainment device, replacing the Xbox almost entirely. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO Go... even with all of that we're still paying far less than we would for cable or satellite. I cannot recommend Roku enough and am constantly extolling it's virtues to friends, family and random strangers alike.
Pros: Insane Number Of Apps, Minimal Lag, Fast Setup, Doesn't Strain Network, Simple Controls
Cons: No youtube app

Use my Roku mainly for Netflix on my living room and basement TVs. Great alternative to video game consoles that uses less energy.

I purchased two streaming devices; the Roku 3 and a Sony BluRay DVD player. There's no comparison between the two. The Sony player is cumbersome, hard to set up and slow, whereas the Roku was easy to set up and very responsive. Wish I had bought two!

We love our roku 3. i have three different versions, and this is the best one. We really like the headphone jack in the remote. Only thing I would like is an app for utube.
