I use this product to avoid putting cable in my bedroom. Love it. I can flip to regular channels with my regular remote when I want access to local channels. It would be nice to have a local channel interface but until then this is the best out there.
Pros: Functionality, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls

Best Roku I've had yet! This is now my 3rd one. The ear plugs option is great but it uses batteries a lot faster.
Pros: Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup
Cons: Poor Battery Life

I liked the fact I can have a TV in the garage with cable like connections. It was a snap to setup & have running in just a few minutes.

Entertainment of the future

I researched the Roku and decided that it was worth the money to try it. It's inexpensive and even though I have found there are alot of channels that I'm not interested in that's okay because if I don't want them I just simply remove them. Alot of the channels are free but even those that you have to pay for I have the choice whether I want to do it or not. Roku is always adding new material just about everyday. It's not quite enough just yet for me to consider getting rid of the sattelite but maybe some day. As for the system itself the screen tends to go a little dark but not to the point where you can't see anything. Also, I've noticed that the Roku 3 does heat up and when this happens it tends to lock up and I have to unplug it and reboot the system. Other than that it was very simple to setup. Took less than 5 minutes to setup and I pretty much have been using my Roku everyday since I bought it back in May. I would definitely recommend that people buy the Roku 3. It's well worth the money.
Pros: Simple Controls, Pay For Only What I Want, Fast Setup
Cons: Screen A Little Dark, Seems To Heat Up

I had 3 Roku 2, but I work from home sewing and would have to turn the TV up to the max to hear over the machine. I got Roku 3 for the earphones. I'm so happy with them. The quality is great! Now I can sew and hear the TV. I plan on getting another Roku 3. Roku is so worth the money. You'll never, never regret getting a Roku. In fact you won't know how you lived without it! Thanks Roku!!

I seldom go to the movies since I prefer to watch them at home. Between Netflix and Amazon everything I want to see is just a click away and usually cheaper than getting them through my cable company. I had used my other streaming device in the past, but had problems with disconnecting unexpectedly and picture quality. I have had none of these problems with Roku. The picture quality is outstanding!! Also, I'm a big fan of British tv and between Netflix, Amazon, and Acorn Online my choices are great. I LOVE my Roku.
