I use my Roku to play content from Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, ABC and PBS. I also use PlayOn in conjunction with my Roku to access even more Web content, including the capability to save movies and videos to my computer to play later on my Roku.
Pros: Makes Streaming Easy, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: No Favorites Feature

Roku 3 Streaming Player

The Roku 3 is my first Streaming Video Player. I got lucky to have purchased the Roku, because since I have used a "Smart TV" a WiiU, and a DVR. The Roku is the most user friendly. The headphone jack in the remote control is a nice feature.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Headphone Jack In Remote

I I added an expensive extender but it still loses the wi-fi network regularly. On the plus side, I can use my laptop by the mailbox if I want!
Pros: Decent Library

The Roku 3 has to be reset atleast once a day by powering off and on as the program stops streaming. We only watch the programs streamed by Dishworld. The audio & video quality is excellent and the Roku remote controller is easy to use. The Roku was easy to install and setup.

The Roku 3 is an upgrade for me. I started with an original Roku model when it was first released. Not sure why I waited so long to upgrade, but SO HAPPY I did. The new UI is gorgeous, the download times are wicked fast, and the newer device can hold tons more channels. This is obviously not the most technical review ever, but if you are an average TV viewer looking to dump cable and replace it with the future, you need look no farther than Roku 3.
