Who needs cable TV??

Roku 3 was my first Roku unit and I have been extremely impressed. Set-up was a breeze and easily connected to my Amazon Prime and Netflix account. We cut the "cable" about a year ago and had been using X-box up to this point. Roku is far and away the better unit of the two and it just works. Period. The design of the interface is elegant and easy to follow. Large amounts of information are displayed for easy sorting. Definitely recommend.
Pros: Simple to use, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Fast Setup
Cons: Batteries Don't Last Long

MKV and MP4 Works

Not many devices that STREAM MKV/MP4. Possible using FLEX. FLEX rocks with their load/sorting even with large library
Pros: Mkv Via Stream And Usb, Mp4 Via Stream And Usb
Cons: Mkvmp4 Not Smooth 100, No Native App For Mkv Mp4

Like Buttons on Roku 2 FAR BETTER

Love that nobody can hear the TV when I use the earphones. However, after one month, I have to look at the handpiece each time I use it. Never had to look with Roku 2. Roku2 plus headphones that hook over ears would be ideal.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Closed Caption Not Needed
Cons: Poor Design, Prev Version Intuitive, Version 2 Better Buttons

I love my Roku 3!!

This is an addition to my current Roku. When the Roku 3 came out, I knew that I had to have it. I also have the Roku 2. Since I upgraded to the Roku 3, I was able to use the Roku 2 in our master bedroom. So we have Roku in both areas of the house. I Also love the true 1080 HD on the Roku 3. I also love the headphones, so I can watch movies at night as loud as I want!! Did I mention I love my Rokus!!
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design
Cons: Can not surf the Internet

Heard all the good news about people quitting cable which I already did. I wanted to expand my selections so to speak so I bought this. I like it totally but I'm not used to finding what I have to watch I guess. Sometimes scrolling & looking takes up alot of time. It's a new way of watching TV - only watch what you want to!

My kids use this product daily for cartoons and informative stuff... Me myself use it to watch movies on Netflix and Plex the most...
