Pretty good overall

I use this product at home for normal viewing (1-2 hours every day or two). I love the fact that I can find many of my favorite TV series on it! It is also very easy to use and I love the overall search feature of the Roku 3! The best part is I have eliminated my cable bill all together which saves me over $100 a month!!! The only issue I have with the Roku itself is that from time to time (usually about once a week) it won't load any of my channels. My Wi-Fi is fine every time so I'll have to unplug the power and then plug it back in. That fixes the issue but can be annoying. There are a few things I don't like about a couple of the channels (Netflix and NBC News) but that has nothing to do with the Roku itself.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design
Cons: Must Reset Box At Times, Netfilx App Design Is Odd

This box was so easy to setup compared to other electronics. Better half particularly likes the headphone attachment on the remote, that I use.

I use this in my bedroom, to watch movies and TV shows through streaming products. It is easy to setup, easy to use, and works very well. I highly recommend it.

One of the best ROKU device ever !!!

I have used four Roku models (N1100, LT, 2XD, 3), and find Roku 3 the best. Remote functionality and reception has been dramatically increased. In my opinion, bringing back Ethernet port was a good decision. Connecting headset to remote is quite useful too. I have seen the this device freezes upon prolonged use and screen goes blank, unit is unresponsive. Turning off power is the only remedy. Overall, this is a good device and I recommend it over any other ROKU model.

Cons: Freezes On Prolonged Use, Heats Up And Hangs

Roku 3 is a great value

I have a Samsung SMART TV, BUT the user interface is clumsy and difficult at best. My new ROKU 3 makes using Netflix, Pandora, Picasa and other web apps a breeze to use. From the moment I unboxed the ROKU to the moment I was browsing apps online was less than 5 minutes! How cool is that? Now my SMART TV is a GENIUS! It is always on its own HDMI input, and just a click away from any of my favorite channels. As long as you have a fairly new TV, the ROKU 3 is the way to go. No HDMI?, then get a ROKU 2 or other model that supports composite hook ups. So far, the ROKU 3 has met or exceeded my expectations. Especially finding the FREE channels created by outside agencies. Stop reading and BUY A ROKU 3 NOW! :-)

I had a Roku 2XD before and was frustraed with constantly loosing internet connectivity, even though the problem was not with the network or router. I think the Roku 2 would overheat with usage and get flaky. The Roku 3 is rock solid and fast. A much better overall experince. I never have to wait through a commerical again!
