Amazing product. Fast, easy to set up, and allows me access to hundreds of TV shows and movies. I've given up cable altogether. It occasionally freezes (twice in total since I bought it a month ago) but plugging and unplugging it fixes everything in less than a minute.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Convenient

Excellent upgrade with one caveat

I was planning to replace an existing XD/S model with the 3. I was disappointed to find that the XD/S has a much better receiving range. The 3 could never find the network, much less connect with it. I have found a use for the 3 much closer to the modem/router. The XD/S is still performing fine at the longer distance.

The best streaming system on the market

The new Roku is a noticeable improvement on the previous versions - it's extremely fast, reliable and easy to use. The control is radio-based so the box doesn't have to be visible in the media center. It's simple to add channels and set up. Overall, a great concept brilliantly executed.

Best Little Black Box Yet...

Love the fact we have saved so much money. Yes, the initial set up was pricey. My husband is a type one and the whole house had to be wired in some crazy way but his way is always good and I have what I wanted. I do not miss cable/satellite at all and probably watch more movies now than I ever have. Just wish when the TV series is at least a year old it would be added as free and I not have to pay $1.99 to watch it. Sister Wives in specific. I have Roku 2 in 2 areas of the house and 3 in another. 3 tends to hang up and I have to reset it often. That is the only negative I have. Still would not go back. And, yes I have recommended and those that I told about it have bought.

Easy to use and setup, plays movies streaming wonderfully, able to share with friends, works well all the time. The only "issue" I have ever had is I have to reset it once in a while by unplugging the electric chord and re plugging it back it. Not really a problem as it is infrequent. I love this little player and can watch all the TV stations,as well as movies, so many free ones. Gave up cable and do not miss it a bit. I love my roku!!
