I bought this a month ago, which replaced my Roku XDS that died on me after 2 years of heavy use. It was a hard choice as we are an Apple family, with a Mac Pro, MacBook, iPad, and iPhones. What decided my purchase was support for Amazon Streaming (AppleTV doesn't support) and private viewing via the earphone option on the remote. When first used, I was flabbergasted at the incredible speed of operation and downloading of all data. Display and audio quality were expectedly great. Speed was my #1 complaint with my Roku XDS, as my Internet speeds are 8 Mbps up and 21 Mbps down, but with the old XDS, it could have used 500 Kbps down. I'm most gratified, and my only rant is not having the "OK" button on the remote placed in the middle of the directional star button where it should be. Also, replace the remotes batteries (included) as they run down with a couple weeks.

Streaming companies should all advertise for Roku for free. Picture and sound is outstanding. I use the bud earphones a lot. It is amazing that so much is packed in a small unit.

Great box fast and easy streaming. So much better than the sony box. But the lack of a youtube channel is a big drawback. If youtube w as available on the roku then it would without a doubt the best streaming box
