A great piece of hardware (except).

Love the Wifi remote (no line of sight issues). The headphone jack in the remote is also cool. The centralized search function is amazing as well.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: No youtube channel

This product has been a game changer for me. Being hearing impaired, the subtitles and earbuds on the remote make it a product that changes my life in a good way. My needs are few but for Netflix and Plex streaming it works great. The user interface/remote is simple to use. If Comcast had an agreement to support HBO GO on the Roku I would be set for life. I don't watch broadcast TV or any of the other services so I haven't ventured into those areas. This little box should be embedded in all TVs by default. They got it right.

The headphone plug in the remote is worth the price alone. Finally, I can watch movies in bed without it turning into a fight. Brilliant. It's also so fast, especially the global search.

I use the Roku 3 more than any of my other streaming devices in my home. The interface is snappy, there is a wonderful variety of channels (both paid and free). Of the paid channels I use Netflix and Amazon Streaming. The biggest, most glaring drawback to this device does NOT have a Youtube channel. From what I understand it's some kind of licensing issue, but regardless; it's a major drawback to NOT have the world's most comprehensive library of streaming content available on the Roku 3. If this single issue was worked out I'd not hesitate to give the device a glowing 5-star review. As it stands, though, the Roku has not made my other streaming devices obsolete as I had hoped.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup
Cons: No youtube channel

I upgraded from a Roku 2 XD, definitely worth the upgrade!

Works great on everything.worst dishnetwork app.needs to d/c dish network app.Annoying and poor performance with dish network app.Tried to call Dish.But did not have answer.
