Is warmer all the time

I was so happy to order this product, replacing the previous model,my disappoint is that even when is on idle(off) is still warmer; that means is consuming power all the time. I have the competitor brand and as soon is on off mode ( idle) is nice cold. This is the bigger concern you should fix on your product. Also when use subtitles on movies, every time we pause to read the titles the movie length and remaining time bar covers the titles for around 3 seconds or more each time; this is to long time that cause frustration. You should cancel the length bar when subtitles or change the position of subtitles.
Pros: Fast connection
Cons: Is Warmer All The Time

I'd really like the product if xbmc was available for this. Also the PLEX add-in seems be having issues with playback. This is not a ROKU 3 issue.

Great little streamer

I've tried quite a few media streaming devices before getting the Roku. All had their own quirks, but I found the main issue was overheating, clunky design & slow navigation. The Roku blew away my expectations. It was easy to setup (though I didn't like having to pair it with an account using my phone) & more importantly I've never had a problem with freezing.
Pros: Intuitive interface, Reads Many File Types, Always on, Doesn't Overheat, Simple Controls
Cons: Difficult File Navigation

I have not enjoyed watching tv or listening to pandora radio until I received this awesome product named Roku. I love how I get to watch my own shows and experience seeing new ones without a problem. Very unique product and money well spent. I have 4 at home for every room. And don't regret any.

I didn't think the Roku 2 could get any better. They proved me wrong. The headphone jack is amazing.

The Roku 3 is in my opinion the very best streaming unit I have ever used, it is fast and feature rich. Best investment I have made in a long time excellent piece of kit.

Volume issues dissapoint

There are two issues with volume. Some apps are much louder than others. Switching to Spotify will 'blow out' my speakers unless I pre-emptively turn it down. Even though there are volume buttons, these only control the headphone volume. It would be nice if it would control the TV/Receiver volume through the HDMI CEC protocol.

Cons: Volume Issues, Poor Design
