We use it to cut the cable! With Roku, we'll be able to drop our cable bill down to next to nothing.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Great Headphone Setup, Fast Setup

This is my third Roku. Out of the three it's the least reliable. The remote control has to be paired at least once a week. Sometimes the headphone jack doesn't work. On a couple of occasions I've had to reboot the unit.

Cons: Unreliable Wifi Remote Co, No Analog Audio Video O

Great Product

Great device, using it to save money over buying a Smart TV. Really does the trick, and has a much deeper well of available channels versus Smart TVs I have seen. Simple to set up and operate, tiny little device with small but functional remote that really does the trick.

This box could be perfect if it wasn't intentionally limited - i.e. no youtube channel, no Hulu (only +), user created channels will get blocked. What it does, it does very well. I simply wish users had a little more freedom in creating/using channels.

Cons: No Native Youtube, Roku Will Pull Down Apps

The scissors we used to cut the cord

Overall it is a great machine. We use it multiple times every day. We run Plex media server through it and a few other apps that allowed us to cut the cord and drop cable.
Pros: Simple Controls, Variety Of Apps, Attractive Design, The Apps We Use, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Portable, Plex, Ipad Controller App
Cons: Crashes At Times, Netflix App Is Old, Some Low Quality Apps
