Great! With minor issues

I have 5 Roku boxes,all different and dating back to the original. They all tend to freeze up on occasion and with the last 2 versions of Roku, my "cursor" disappears and I am unable to navigate through channels. Nothing gets highlighted. Also, I'm bummed there is still no Just for Kids section on Netflix. It is on our iPads and smart TVs. What's the hold up?!?!

Streams much faster than so-called 'smart' devices with considerably more channels to choose from.

Headphones - Batteries

I purchased this product because of the built in headphones. I have many other roku boxes and they all seem to be pretty much the same - but this one included the headphones - and I had been dealing with the poor quality of my tv ears headphones for years. Also, with the tv ears, if you turned your head you could lose reception - reception that was never 'crisp'. With the Roku3 headphones - you can walk all over the house and get GREAT reception. Love the idea - love the headphones - just don't love having to replace the batteries on a daily basis. YES, DAILY. I switched to the rechargable type batteries - and keep six of them recharging all the time. Would I buy this product again knowing this limitation - YES. I would have been happier with the product though if I had known upfront that the headphones use so much battery power. Also, like the fact that I don't have to point my remote directly at the roku3 box - I now have the roku3 tucked away behind a lot of other tv equipment in a cabinet. I would definitely buy this product again!! One of my favorite purchases of the past ten years.

Good bye, Directv

I bought a Vizio 60" LED flatpanel Smart TV. At the same time I bought a Roku 3. I attached the Roku 3 to my smaller flatpanel in the bedroom. I like the layout and flexibility of the Roku so much I'm actually considering attaching another Roku 3 to my Smart TV. The remote works well but I really like the headphone jack and headset. The sound on my TV is fine for the bedroom but the sound on the headset is even better...what a surprise. I also hooked up a Mohu Leaf (non-amplified) to the bedroom TV and since I am less than 10 miles from all the towers, I get every available OTA station crystal clear. This is an excellent compliment to my Roku 3.
Pros: Headphone Is Great, Remote works well, Sound Is Excellent, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Fast Setup
Cons: Private Chanels Tricky
