Good enough

Had Roku for years. Finally upgraded to newest model. Returned to manufacturer due to constant loosing of wifi signal and ran very hot. Replacement not as hot but doesn't drop signal. When watching a TV series; the 'next episodes' are often not found. I have to go to main menu then back into the series for the additional episodes to appear. A bit of a pain. The 'motion detector' remote is useless to me as I don't play action games on my TV. In retrospect; I should have tried the AppleTV or another vendor this time around. I found nothing unique to Roku anymore. Perhaps other manufactures will offer me a better viewing experience and drop the useless extra features of the devise.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup
Cons: Looses Episodes, Runs Hot

Roku has helped me kick the over $100 cable bill for over two years now. I figure the $2400+ in savings is well worth the $99 price tag. Plenty of free content, and now that Vudu and others are joining the lineup, I never have trouble finding some entertainment!

Love the little thing, but wish the USB played a wider variety of formats! Wish I didn't have to subscribe to channels and could just stream freely. Otherwise it's great and we all love it.

Some of the channels provided such as USTV have a spotty performance record. By offering this channel on ROKU, ROKU needs to monitor their performance because people like me will judge ROKU by the quality of their offerings such as USTV. IF USTV IS BAD, SO IS ROKU.

Video Heaven in a box

Movies, Sports, and much more. Only draw back is the unit drops/looses its WiFi link on shut down. Next time you use it you must reconnect. Only takes a moment,... but it should hold the link when in stand-by or Off.

This little hockey puck is one of the best purchases I have ever made! I recommend it to everyone! We subscribe to Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Vudu plus a lot of the free channels.
