Love it!

Seems much faster than my older Roku (on another televsion. I didn't think we'd usedthe headphone jack, but we do and it is a great feature. And the support people are really great (I had a problem with my TV, not the Roku).
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Must Faster Than Old Roku

We have three of these and they are simply awesome.
Pros: Doesn't Get Any Easier, Simple Controls, Fast Setup
Cons: No Private Channel Search

ROKU 3: Faster than all the rest!

The Roku 3 is blazingly fast compared to previous models. The fact that it is so good prompted me to buy it even though I use 2 other Roku models.
Pros: Fast Operation And Search, Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design
Cons: Need A 720p Hd Version, Needs Component Output

A good bang for your $100

I bought the Roku 3 because of its features and with the intent that I would dump Cable TV. I wasn't disappointed. It works well and is easy to set up (though setup does take a little time). The one flaw in the plan was that there is little new content. A lot of the shows I watch on TV are not available through any of the channels I have available on the Roku 3. To me this is somewhat of a drawback. That said, they do add channels regularly so newer content may be a possibility some day.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls
Cons: More Content Needed

My 2nd Roku

I added a 2nd Roku for my bedroom. It has worked great. I don't believe I will ever Go back to satellite. Now for some ala cart

Little box, big capabilities

I use the Roku to replace a gaming console that I no longer use for games - the Roku is free, no annual subscriptions and the image quality is far better than the console it replaced. It's also very small. People always ask "What's that?" and when I tell them they want to see it. Great little device! I just wish I could stream HBO on it!
