Does not live up to the hype

Works ok with paid services such as Amazon Prime. Most of the "free" content is junk. Lots of shlock channels that are not really free. Still cannot get I Heart Radio to work, always reports internet time outs when other streaming services work fine. Lack of YouTube is a big minus. Just got a new internet capable TV that actually has more content available.
Pros: Simple Controls

Roku controler drains batteries

There needs to be an on and off switch on the controller of the Roku. Because there is not the battery is drained extremely quickly.

We have been Roku users for years now. Just replaced our first gen Roku devices with the Roku 3 to take advantage of the updated offerings and capabilities. Very happy with the new Roku 3 - especially the improved search capabilities ... if we're in the mood for a specific film, actor, director ... we can search and find it across platforms.
