We just like the fact that we no longer have to pay our cable provider $75.00/month for nothing to watch. We like having a say so over what is on. I find my TV is on less than it used to be which has to help our electric bill even a little bit. So easy to hook up and use. We were watching TV within 10 minutes.

It might be useful if users could create their own channel groupings (i.e. News, Live, Sports, goofy stuff, etc.)

Roku 3 Is Almost Perfect

By cable transition I mean the ability to cancel all cable TV services and replace them with Roku. This might be the most cost-effective benefit for most users. We have encountered a glitch with rebooting which is not yet clear to us as to what and why. We paid for an added app (Weather4Us) that disappeared as a fully-paid app upon rebooting. This could be a Weather4Us problem and have nothing to do with Roku.
Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Amazon Prime Video
Cons: Occasional reboots

The device does everything we expected with great picture detail and the customer service department is top quality with the freindliest and most informative staff. We had a problem with our wifi connection and they were superb in helping us fix it so that we could enjoy all of Roku's features.

Its irritating that you have to go on the web on computer to register apps It should only be done on roku device. I would like to get more streaming tv channels without having to have a cable tv at home.
