The ONLY way to stream!

We bought the first Roku on the market, and loved that we could stream movies directly to the TV and used it for years. When we bought a new TV, we decided to get a Blueray player with streaming built in. We used it for about a week, and got frustrated. we missed the Roku! We got the newest Roku, and have not had any issues. It streams well, without any loading issues or waiting. We love the new search, you can search ALL the channels for what you are looking for, instead of one at a time. You can get to what you want to watch quickly and easily. No waiting for screens to refresh or slow search engines. We don't have cable, so we stream almost everything we watch. We will ALWAYS have a Roku in the house!

Best device for streaming video ever!

Got my Roku to get Warner Archive Instant in HD, but now using it for Netflix, Amazon Prime and Acorn Online. The greatest thing is that I can now get Closed Captioning on many og the British TV shows that I sometimes had trouble understanding. Wound up buying two more for other TV's in the house. i also love the iPhoe App for controlling the Roku and displaying my pics on the TV,

We are using the Roku 3 as a media streaming device to play Amazon Prime and Netflix video. It works well, but at least once a day in unable to connect to Amazon or Netflix and needs to be unplugged and replugged in to reboot the unit and regain connectivity.

Super clean UI! Best one stop streaming box available, period! I have two in my house. Cutting the cable has never been easier. The other guys better take notice. I do wish the "play on roku" feature was a little more solid. Great product people! Keep it up!

Bye Bye DVR!!

I recently cut back the cable package I had in order to save money. With that reduction, I got rid of my DVR. With the Roku there is little need for me to have a DVR anyway, as I can watch just about any show I want through Hulu, Amazon, etc. The Roku 3 is so easy to use, and so great at streaming I really can't believe just how well it works. Excellent performance from such a little box!! I highly recommend a Roku for anyone looking to ditch or reduce your cable TV package.
