Worth the extra bucks

Overall, I am very happy with the Roku 3. Much faster than my older Roku. I wish they hadn't moved the OK button--new location feels awkward. Also wish the texture of the remote wasn't quite so slick-it tends to slip out of my hand. But the Roku 3 works great in all other respects and I would recommend it to everyone.
Pros: Fast Setup, Old Remote Works With It, Sharper Picture, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls
Cons: Remote Surface Too Slick

I have both the Smart TV and the Roku 3 applications connected to my big screen TV, Although there are some differences in available applications, I have found that I am partial to using the Roku 3 apps when it comes to applications such Netflix and Hulu for their ease of quick access and reliable connectivity.

I would have given the review 5 stars, but the batteries were dead when I purchased the unit which made it difficult to determine why the set up was going so slow.

I am through with cable providers and have chosen to change how I watch television. You are never bored for content with the Roku 3. It's selling point to me is its ease of setup and use.

Still a few minor bugs

I hope there are soon some firmware updates to fix my freezes and HDCP issues.
