The PLUSES for me: Allows me to stream shows from Time-Warner Cable, HuluPlus, pbs and netflix as desired. Easy setup! Also has many other channels that may or may not ever prove fruitful for my personal use. The MINUSES for me: More cables. I wish they could do something about the cables. However, this has been an issue with most computer technology since my younger days in the stone age. The bulk of channels that I will never watch seem to be related to religion of one type or another. To Really sum it up: I liked the first unit so much I ordered a second.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls

internet now limits data usage of streaming movies which greatly limits the use of Roku . I haven't used it since the first week seeing it uses up so much of my data time it's gone before half the month is

I have a home that is over 100 years old and I have thick walls. I can get the Roku 3 to work downstairs in the living room, but I can't get it to work upstairs in my bedroom every time I want it to. My laptop will work all of the time upstairs in my bedroom, but this Roku 3 has a hard time picking up the connection. It is frustrating.
Pros: Fast Setup
Cons: Difficult setup

I have older hd roku it does not compare to the roku 3 the roku 3 is extremly fast and and shows a very good picture well worth the money

I own two Rokus, an 2XS and a 3, and love them both. The newer interface is a great improvement and updated easily on the '2XS' recently. The addition of the headphone jack on the '3' is perfect for personal viewing so I may swap that one to the bedroom soon.
Pros: Minimal Buffering, Clean Interface, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls
Cons: Rounded Bottom Of Remote, Remote Not Textured

I want more

We use this product in our living room, mostly for streaming from PLEX or Netflix. Easy set-up plug in HDMI to TV and plug in the power cord and your good to go. The only con I have is that it occasionally bugs out (once a month, you can't navigate to certain menus or it completely skips things) but all I have to do is powercycle it.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Fast Setup
