Cons: Does Not Improve Audio/Video, Headset Eats Batteries

Nice mprovement over Roku 2 save Wifi

Overall the new Roku 3 is a great device. It seems faster than the previous models, particularly with the new interface. It is also a little heavier, which is nice, as it sits more solidly with the cables plugged into it. Our only issue is that the Wifi connection seems worse than our previous Roku 2. In the same location as our old device, occassionally the Roku 3 has problems with connecting and we can't watch anything for a few minutes. Generally it sorts itself out after a few minutes but it is somewhat annoying.
Pros: Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design
Cons: Wifi Not As Strong

I don't need cable I have my ROKU 3

I use my ROKU along with PlayOn. It's like having cable with out the monthly bill. Everything I watch is free except an occasional pay for view movie.
Pros: Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Simple Controls

Best Thing Ever!

Thought about Roku for over a year, but when Roku 3 came out I could not resist anymore. Roku 3 has allowed me to basically cut my cable cord and increase the entertainment options on my television. I pay about $15 per month for Netflix and Hulu (fraction of the cost of cable) and with all the free offerings of the built in applications I have more viewing and entertainment choices that I could ever use, it is simply AWESOME!
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Attractive Design

Must faster and more features

I was an original Roku user and bailed after I received a BluRay player with streaming capabilities. The streaming on that device, however, was painfully slow so, with the great reviews of Roku3, I make the plunge again. Great design and I really like the usb port and photo display feature (although the capacity to enlarge individual photos would be nice). Speed is lightning fast and MUCH easier to navigate through channels. Only major complaint is that the screen on my TV brightens a great deal whenever I switch to the Roku so I have to fiddle with controls. Hope this can be fixed in a firmware update.
Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Fast Setup

Audio is very low, Hulu stops during commercials and has to be reset continuously during movies, but Cable is out the window for savings of $90 a month!!!!
Pros: Fast Setup

My roku is on my wireless network and saves me over a $100 a month for much better TV because I schedule my TV when I want to.
