there is a lot to the roku unit has a lot to offer, but I do find myself using Netflix a lot more often than the other programs
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Power In A Small Box, Simple Controls
Cons: Does Not Improve Audio/Video

Roku 3 is great

Roku 3 has a sleek excellent design, smooth and simple controls, an awesome USB port to view extrinsic movies you own, and a decent channel selection. However, I would like roku to offer more better channels such as HBO Go; which is currently offered.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Not Enough Good Channels

Product needs controls that can be opperated directly from the box.If my remote stops working,which they all do,then I have no way of streaming.I could hook my computer up to my TV but shouldn't have too

Walk away from the chains of cable

I love sports and being able to watch baseball, basketball, (and hopefully football someday) is the best. I also use the remote with headphones to listen to music while im doing work around the house. I love not being stuck with a giant cable bill, and only watch a few channels that I pay for. With the Roku I can pick and choose what I pay for. The next improvement is with the remote. I sometimes hit buttons while im listening to music and changes the song or station. Some kind if hold button to prevent that might help. Not end of the world, but just a suggestion.

My wife and I use the Roku 3 in our bedroom and love the headphone jack on the remote, what a great idea! We use it primarily for Netflix and Hulu and it works great. Small design allows it to be strapped to the back of the TV with a little velcro and it's invisible.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls
Cons: Batteries Could Last Long, Doesn't Have Power Button

My favorite video streaming device!

I don't watch a lot of tv, but my wife and I end up renting a lot of movies. I own and have used an Xbox 360, PS3, and Apple TV. I decided to give the Roku 3 a shot because of some of its unique features, and over the past few months this has become my "go to" device for streaming. Things I love: 1. You can get channels (think "apps") from the channel store. There are a wide variety of channels, even some from websites like "College Humor" and my personal favorite "AOPA" (aircraft owners and pilot's association). For example, the AOPA has a weekly webcast on their website but I rarely got around to watching it. Now, every week I can watch their new webcast right on my TV while I'm waiting for dinner to cook! I love it! 2. Search aggregation of services: If you are looking for a movie and do a search for it, Roku will show you what services have the movie and at what price each is offering it at. I've used this feature to find that one service is offering the movie for free while the others are charging for it. I love it! 3. Being able to plug headphones in to the remote is genius! When "someone" is trying to sleep on the couch and asks you to turn the tv down, simply plug headphones in to the remote and the audio will be yours alone! I love it! 4. Fast and stable.

Cost Cutter

My family cut the cord from dish network months ago and have the Roku 3 in the family room as our sole entertainment providing console. I had my own reservations initially because we had Dish Network for so long but this great little box quickly changed my mind. There are so many options available but what sets this box apart is its easy setup and even easier user interface. My family loves it and with the subscription of a few video services we quickly forgot that we ever had a satellite dish. The headphone jack on the remote is a great addition because I have always hated keeping the volume down when the kids go to sleep. Now I can watch my favorite "explicit" shows without worrying about the kids overhearing something they shouldn't. Thanks!
