Greatly improved over previous version

The Roku 3 boots up a lot faster that the Roku 1. The headphone jack in the remote is a great feature, but it seems to eat batteries. I do not know if the remote has a flaw, but there is an exposed wire in the headphone jack.
Pros: Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: Remote eats batteries

This is my third version. ROKU 3 is the best. Liked it so well, I bought another for the bedroom.
Pros: Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Remote Ear Phone Connect, Geat User Interface, Attractive Design, Simple Controls

I use the product everyday. I love how I can watch on my phone on he computer and it's SOOO easy to use. I got rid of cable and only have this and bunny ears. I don't think I will ever go back to cable.

I subscribe to "Amazon Prime" (for the free shipping), and recently found out about streaming of free movies from this site. I tried a several different ways of connecting a computer to my HDTV and wasn't happy with the results. A friend had suggested Roku so I researched it and then bought one. I found it easy to set up and the picture quality is great. It's hard to believe I can get these results from this little box!

works very well on movies as well as music (Pandora. Previous Roku suited my purposes. But when I upgraded TV I decided to go all the way and get a blue tooth player and a surround sound system so it made sense to get a complete upgrade.

We bought a second Roku because having it only one one screen in the house was not enough. It is definitely the go to device if you plan to save yourself money on paying for some version of TV. Between Netflix, Hulu, PBS and all the other different Channels available you're sure to find something that suits your needs!

Setting up channels of existing accounts could be simpler, if there is such a way. Curious as to why I have audio with VUDU trailers but the actual movie, once rented, is mute??? I have to play VUDU rentals through my blu-ray player to hear them! Otherwise, I love the system!
