Great when it works.

About every third time I use it, it is unrespnosive. I have to unplug it and plug it back in (there is no on/off switch.), then wait... That does it about half the time. Sometimes, in addition, I need to remove and reload the batteries. This is a huge nuisance. When it works, it is easy to use and very nice. I LOVE the built in headphones. Not only handy, but surprisingly good sound-quality. I don't need to go get my other headphones as I thought I would.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls

A great improvement would be if the live programs were continuous. At present one has to click on every time there is a program change, say every 30 minutes or so. i.e Bloomberg, news, or whatever is playing "Now"

Being a first time user of this technology, I have nothing to compare it to but want to say that I am pleased with the simplicity of the Roku system. I still need to explore the many channels beyond Netflix and Amazon. It appears at early glance that many other channels charge for most everything they offer but further investigation may prove me wrong on that. My eventual goal is to cancel the satellite service which will save me about $130 per month.

We use this product daily. It is my hope that in the future we can all subscribe to what channels we wish. Roku gets us one step closer. Outside of YouTube, FoodChannel, and some local stations, I can't image paying for Sat or Cable. We are very happy with this device. It's fairly quick, but sometimes freezes between menus.
