I was completely satisfied with Roku 2 but I like the new Roku 3 because of the screen selections and more importantly the increase in speed. I actually had 3 Roku 2's in my home and have replaced two of them with Roku 3 and will probably be replacing the third Roku 2 with Roku 3 very soon.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design

We were looking for a way to access Netflix and other similar services. Researched Roku and decided to go with the Roku 3. We are extremely thankful we did. Set up was very easy. Unit works very well. We got the bonus of having access to hundreds of channels. In fact, we were surprised at the number available, and are still being added! We thought our "slow" DSL internet connection would be a problem, but the Roku 3 works wonderfully with it. We watch HD tv with no problems at all.
Pros: Attractive Design, Lots Of Choice, Simple Controls, High Definition, Fast Setup
Cons: Unit Get Very Warm, Unit Gets Very Warm

Completely sold on Roku

I now own 5 of these bad boys. So many channels and apps. So much you can do. Augmenting your Roku with a Plex server only expands the amazing abilities of this device. I am a Roku user for life now.

After owning a ROKU HD device for several years, I decided that the High-Def advantages of the ROKU 3 were worth a try. The improvements were very dramatic and the unit is a definite winner. The remote's improvements were an unexpected bonus, like the included earbud!
