When I heard about the Roku 3 and that it had a headphone jack in it, I was excited - it was a device that had to be bought. This is in our bedroom, where the treadmill is, so when I walk on the treadmill now, I don't have to have the TV up really loud and can actually hear it with the earbuds hooked up to the remote. The only issue, which isn't really a major one, is the batteries don't seem to last very long. Otherwise, I'm a very happy user!

Have watched and experienced as Roku evolved, and as such each new Roku, brings a better unit, along with quailty service

It's great but the remote a few times lost it's signal even with fresh batteries. Love the headphone jack. Also, one time it became unresponsive and I had to unplug then replug in. Overall, lotta fun.

Roku has almost everything I need: a lot of content/channels to choose from. However 2 things missing ( both available in WD Media Player): 1. Youtube 2. DLNA client - ability to view via Roku content of my local media library, without installing additional software on my computer/NAS.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Simple Controls, A Lot Of Extra Content
Cons: No Dlna Client, No Yutube

Sets the bar for all other devices

I have an excellent set of headphones. These require a digital optical input for best results. As much as I like the Roku 3, I had to switch to Apple TV which still has the optical out.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: No optical audio output

It's fun to check out all the channels. I've been concerned about the heat of the Roku 3 since I got it. We have the Roku HD too, and it never gets warm on or off. I have been leaving it unplugged when I'm not using it , just to be on the safe side, Other than that We really like it.
Pros: Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, It Has Every Thing, Fast Setup
Cons: It's Heat Concerns Me, Poor Design
