Best media player out there, but...

It's a great tool to have. It needs a YouTube app and the ability to add subtitles in the use media app. Then it would be a perfect device...for me.
Pros: Great design, A Lot Of Content, Easy to use
Cons: No Subtitle Usb Content, No youtube

Easy to use. Headphone jack come in handy when the kids are sleeping and i want to watch something. Downsides are the remote battery life but i use the headphone feature a lot. Sometimes gets stuck and needs a restart but it may be due to network errors

Internet connection is sometimes lost but it will reboot in just a few seconds...nice. The remote is to simple and difficult to learn and operate.

We don't miss cable at all

We use Roku to stream netflix and amazon prime. We also use some of the preloaded channels. The kids like PBS and Scyfy. The HDMI video quality is great and I love the wifi feature for the TV upstairs that doesn't have any internet cable hookup. Downstairs we plug right into the cable modem so we don't use more wifi. The kids haven't complained once that the cable is gone and I have saved money by dropping cable.
