I wish it had a separate audio rather than a single HDMI. I love my ROKU!

Roku gets bulky in its 3rd edition

Roku 3's reaction time is faster than previous models; and unlike previous models, Roku 3 has never frozen on me. Those are the most noticeable improvements I've found. On the downside, I loathe the Roku 3 remote. At first, I was excited to about the headphone jack built right into the remote. Adding that feature, though, made the remote bulkier and much heavier than the remotes from previous models. The remote's buttons are also awkwardly placed, clumsy, and difficult to press. After owning and using all the Roku models, Roku LT is my favorite. It may not provide the full 1080 graphics of the high end models, but it was reliable and had a matte finish remote that was light and responded well.
Pros: More Reliable, Improved Reaction Time, Fast Setup
Cons: Heavier Remote, Poor Design

Works like no other streaming device

We started with a Roku-2 over a year ago and have enjoyed it very much. After moving up to the new and improved Roku-3 for the living room, Roku-2 now resides in the bedroom. We enjoy both, but really like the enhancements on the new model,as in HD, etc.

Goodbye Cable!

I bought two of these to replace expensive cable. I also purchased an inexpensive antenna to watch broadcast tv for local news and weather updates. Good investment and results in $150 savings every month. I haven't heard any complaints from my college-aged son. When my grandchildren are over, I can choose age-appropriate channels for viewing. I have no regrets in dropping cable. The Roku 3 was easily set up on our tvs. My son will be able to take his Roku to his dorm this fall. I wish I would have taken my co-worker's suggestion months ago.

We use this in our living rooms hooked up to our HD flat screen. HD movies are beautiful. We have subscriptions with Netscape and Amazon Prime. We also rent the occasional movie from Vudu. We don't miss our program TV at all. Simply the best streaming player on the market. The games are poor at best, so set your exceptions. As controllers go the Roku remote is not that great. Casual at best.

Great Except for One Annoying Bug

I love my Roku 3 except for this one annoying bug that forces me to reset the thing every few days. Somehow the Roku 3 gets slower and slower until it finally becomes unusable, that requiring me to unplug it to reboot it. The forums have threads about this. I hope Roku puts out a fix soon, it's been happening for a while now.

Cons: Needs Reset Every Few Day
