I love my Roku players but the 3 is my favorite. All are easy to set up even for a novice like myself. I especially like the earphones feature of the control on the 3 because I can watch movies while my hubby sleeps.

This is just an extremely well-engineered product. The design and development team should be proud. It's extremely simple to use but also very reliable. It streams high-quality video with almost no hiccups or interruptions, even on my slow DSL connection. I don't get video streaming performance like this even on my big powerful desktop computer.

We cut cable because of this product. It is convenient. Love the remote. Only frustration ifs that I have to hook up my laptop to the tv to watch free things like hulu (not plus) and network websites.
Pros: Netflix, Pandora, Simple Controls, Fast Setup
Cons: No Streaming Hulu, No youtube

I didn't realize the quality of the HDMI cable would be an issue. Customer service "chatted" me through the problem easily.

I have to revert to my Apple TV or other device to view YouTube stuff. If you add that then I would have everything I need on one box. Also, being able to receive live streaming TV would be great.

I use this mostly with Netflix & HBO channel. I love it! I wish it had more support for movie formats when playing from USB key. Besides that the unit is great & fast.

Best way to watch online content

We use it with our plasma. It has a great screen saver feature which is nice with plasmas. Netflix is most commonly used, it's quick, almost instant. I also enjoy PlayOn for the different options available with online content. We don't even have cable anymore! Just an antenna for local stations and the roku. We save a bundle.
