Excellent Value!

Roku is unmatched in channel variety. Just for the low purchase price gives you hundreds of free channels covering a very wide range of interests. It was the variety of free channels that attracted me to Roku but then I subscribed to several paid channels and the experience with those channels is excellent. Some of them I can watch on other devices but Roku's new interface by far makes it the easiest way to access them.
Pros: Simple Controls, Improved Audio/Video, Has Both Wifi And Wired, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Bluetooth Headphone

Excellent ... but I want more

Pros: Easy to use, more than adequate content, easy to add new channels, HD content is excellent Cons: Remote constantly crashes necessitating a system reboot, no access to YouTube, no access to network streaming websites, no easy link to local station newscasts.
Pros: Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Good Choice Of Channels, Excellent Video Quality
Cons: No access to YouTube, Remote Crashes Constantly

Roku has so much to offer, we don't both with watching regular TV anymore. We're so happy with this brand, we've told our friends to get one.

Fast and Fluid

Roku 3 is a great solution for cutting the cord. I use my Roku 3 mainly for watching movies and TV shows. I love having the option of on demand streaming content whether it is a grown ups movie night, or a family friendly evening. The best aspect of Roku 3 above all other straming boxes is that it is fast and fluid. It is always on and always connected so, after initial setup, all I have to do is push two or three buttons and I'm watching a movie or TV show. No logging in to a subscription service. No wait for credentials to clear. Just start it up and play.

The only trouble I have experienced is frequently having to re-set by unplugging and then waiting 5 minutes and replug the power source back into the unit.

My internet is pretty slow and i thought maybe the Roku 3 would not work. But is works fine, very good picture and fast too.

I wish I could remove the religious content through a filter or something, other than that the controls are great, video quality is great and the ability to plug headphones in to the remote is awesome. Really helps when I want to watch a movie and my partner needs to work on the computer. Also great when people are sleeping. Love this device.
