Much easier than I thought it would be..

My husband and I got the Roku because we wanted to see HOUSE OF CARDS which was showing only on Netflix and it seemed reasonable. It turned out to be a small investment that keeps paying off. We've watched TOP OF THE LAKE and several films we never got to see in the theater that haven't yet come to the on demand even though we subscribe to all the movie stations. It helps when I have my nephews over night because they can watch any family movie or animated film more easily than going through the library of on demand movies on my dvr availability. I just love it.
Pros: Fast Setup, Attractive Design, Simple Controls

After seeing my ROKU and how well it works, friends have purchased one. Folks at a RV park noticed it and wanted one. Satellite Dish does not always work due to the trees. If you have cable and Roku, you have entertainment.
Pros: Works like a charm, Easy to set up, Great Range, Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Hardly Noticeable, Fast Setup
Cons: I Find Nothing Wrong

By using this product we are going to eliminate our satellite dish. We are enjoying watching movies and listening to music.

I never watch cable anymore after buying this box. I love how I can use my netflix and Hulu accounts plus accuse all the channels roku provides.

The Roku is great. It has been a great compliment to my collection of stuff and has almost completely replaced my Apple TV. The only thing I need the Apple for is screen sharing. Roku and Apple need to have some wine, work out their differences, work out a deal. If screen sharing existed between iOS (and android) and the Roku, it'd be the perfect device. The interface is sleek and easy to follow. The Roku is so small that you forget it's even there. It's an incredible product, and gets better with each itteration.

Better than Apple TV ( And we have both)

If you have kids and are debating Roku3 vs. Apple TV, get the Roku or get both. PBS Kids has a Roku channel. Whether you have cable or not ( we are seriously considering dropping Cable) your kids can watch the newest PBS shows from Cat in the Hat and Curious George to Sesame Street, in High Definition on the Roku... Our 5 year old can work the Roku (it is that easy) and can watch a show with headphones plugged into the remote... ( Love this killer feature on the RoKu 3. Our Panasonic Plasma is a smart TV... it could play NetFlix and Amazon content before the Roku but not Pandora, PBS Kids, or any of the hundreds of Roku channels. Roku is easy to install and set up takes all of 15 minutes. Roku adds a huge amount of content and features to your TV for a very reasonable price. We use it more often than our Apple TV.
