Being a member of Amazon Prime, the Roku 3 player is the best choice on the market to stream HD movies to your TV. I had the entire device up and running from my network in less than 5 minutes. The picture quality is excellent and there is never a lag or hiccup in the streaming picture. Well worth the cost, even at twice the price.

We upgraded to a Roku 3 from our XD/S model, which Roku long ago stopped supporting with new features (no search) and updated UI. It had become unbearably slow and unresponsive to pause/play commands, especially with Hulu Plus. It was disappointing to have to buy new equipment after only 2 years, but the Roku 3 is a dream! It's fast, the UI is great, and we have no problems with pausing/playing in any channels we've used. If it had a built-in browser that would let us surf the 'net with a wireless keyboard, or could mirror a laptop, it would be perfect.

Cox Communications severely limits the number of shows/movies you can watch. Should be illegal, but they do it.

I bought this for my bedroom because I didn't want a third cable box. I had it set up within minutes.. It basically sets itself up after you plug it in. Now I am able to watch my favorites on Netflix, HBO Go, TWC, Amazon, and others. I have pretty much stopped using my other internet TV device, as this Roku is so much easier. Worth every cent, i already bought one for my mom and friend as gifts.
