I bought this to replace the Roku 2 I had and have been quite pleased with the system. The only drawback I have encountered was the fact I had to resynch the remote twice for no apparent reason.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video

Overall i really like this product. Just wish it ran on a droid platform. So i could incorporate Google TV. HDMI In & Out would have been nice too.
Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: Does't Run On A Droid

We use this unit for all our tv viewing; movies, tv shows, documentaries.... all are accessed through Roku. When I first discovered that Roku-3 was becoming available, I pre-ordered it; I was very glad I did because they were hard to find early in the days afterward. We LOVE our Roku-3!!!

I use my Roku3 everyday. I have cable but I noticed I neverturn it on. Roku has replaced it. It works best if you use Netflix and Hulu Plus. There are lots of free channels. Crackle is my favorite. In the morning I do Yoga with one of the channels. I am diehard TV fan. This is an amazing little device. The headphone connection is great, too. There are only a few con's for me. 1- The sound is sometimes a hassle. The voices will be low but not anything else. There is an adjustment for sound effects, but it is not always helpful. 2- When a channel says it free than it should be free. 3- You should be able to delete channels without having to go to the channel store. That's it, that is all my complaints. One more thing I love, I can use my Facebook pictures as the screensaver. You can even use your friends photos that they post.

My have a problem using the head phone option. It looses the programming and I have to reset and star all over again.

Amazing little box

I bought the Roku for home use and loved the viewing opportunities it offered so much that I bought 2 more.One I bought for our summer place at the beach and one for my daughters family. She has 2 little boys, 5 and 7 and they watch something every Sat night. They told me they love their Roku.

Good but not perfect

Streaming is good but I use a wired ethernet connection. Never tried the wireless. Does 720p effortlessly. Use the Plex app exclusively for running media to other room. App could be better but that's the developer's problem. Functionality over gloss which is good but basic compared to my media center experience.
Pros: Fast Setup
Cons: Simplistic Interface
