We bought it mostly to use our netflix account on but discovered many more options are available. This could easily be used in place of expensive cable television if you want to save money.

Subscribed to Amazon Prime and Netflix. Lots of options and a chance to see classic and new entertainment. Once installed using our WIFI it is simple and fun to use.

Roku would be perfect if it supported all types of video files from my PC, but that is probably more of an issue with Plex... Roku is near perfect.

I use the Roku 3 to sign up with Netflix and Hulu. I have also found other very interesting channels and content. Listings can be found on the internet. I liked the product so well, I bought one for a friend. She loves it.

Never run out of something good to watch

The greatest thing about the ROKU is that once I find the shows and/or movies I want to "own", I add them to my watchlists and they are there forever!!! I can watch them whenever I want, especially if the satellite is "out" for a while due to weather. I haven't found anything "not so great" about my ROKU!!! I really love it!
