Great little gadget

I bought the ROKU so I could watch Amazon Prime features on my TV in the living room. The set up was incredibly easy. The ROKU itself is small and hardly noticeable, so it does not attract the attention of small hands and curious eyes. Once connected I could not believe how easy it was to connect to Amazon, PBS, ETC. The shows/movies I want to watch start with just a few clicks. The remote is so simple that the learning curve for non-techies is almost non-existant. Besides all this, I was able to download a free app so that I can use my Android cell phone as the remote when my granddaughter runs off with the ROKU remote. This is a great device and the price was very reasonable.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design

My Wife Loves It.

I purchased the ROKU 2 for our living room so we could watch Netflix and Amazon. After seeing how well it improved our TV and the programs we could receive, My wife wanted one for the bedroom. The ROKU 3 with the headset built in to the remote is perfect, she can watch her programs and I can sleep. Great piece of entertainment.

Hangs sometimes

Some of the apps hang and the home button doesn't take me to main screen and I have to reset the power to the box, very annoying.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design

Don't know how anyone lives without the Roku. Plus I have watched TV shows recorded on my flash stick.

I have a Roku XD/S and it works great. I purchased a Roku 3 for my 2nd TV. From the start I had numerous problems. First the set up wasn't working, blank screen, error messages, picture would come in then start blinking every 5 secs. Tec Support was great & worked with me for a few days but unfortunately I had to return it because it just wasn't working correctly. Within a few days I received a new Roku 3 & set it up within minutes. Everything worked great for a day than the picture starting blinking on every channel. I tried everything to find the problem but finally gave up. It is now sitting in a dresser draw gathering dust. I should have returned it but didn't, guess I will try setting it up in the future. In the meantime I'm sticking with my old Roku and loving it.

Cons: Does Not Improve Audio/Video
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
