I love being able to set a Pandora music channel and turn off the T.V. and just listen to the music on my headphones anywhere in the house. I adjust the volume right on the controller and don't upset my wife with my music. We watch more movies now too. Love it, love it, love it.

Oh, So Many Choices!

We love our new Roku3! It gives us so many new and varied channels/choices, plus its robust search mode allows us to seek out old programs/movies, find something new, or look back on some old favorites. In addition, using the Roku search, you also can quickly locate the least expensive/free alternative for series, movies, and the like - very nice. The Roku is our "smart" access that plugs right into for our flat screen TV (and no need for a new DVD Player with additional streaming features). It was so easy and fast to set up, and the link into our wireless home network went without a hitch. For our needs and uses, the Roku was more than up to the reviews we read, and it was priced right. The slick little black box did not fall short in any way. A definite winner!

Best steaming box ever!

I am a gadget fanatic, so when I read that it was available to purchase, I did not hesitate. I thought the audio jack on the remote would not be used, but it is one of my favorite features now. My wife uses it for her treadmill so she doesn't have to crank the volume on the TV. I use it when she is reading and I want to watch a movie.

Overall disappointment in the user interface and design of the software. I only use it for streaming my amazon prime but it doesn't work a majority of the time. I have to constantly reset. I get more enjoyment from a competitors set top box. Roku has a long way to go. I don't have cable and stream everything. Roku is clunky. Considering giving it away.
Pros: I Use For Amazon Prime
Cons: Difficult setup, Poor Design, Does Not Improve Audio/Video

I would like to have in Roku support for SMB(Windows Share) sometimes this is nice to have, I'm a Plex heavy user so I'm use Plex all the time. I hope more channels from outside US users like me.
