Headphone jack is a wonderful addition.

Having owned and used 2 Rokus I had no qualms about getting the Roku 3. The addition of the headphone jack to the remote made it perfect for use with our bedroom TV. I'm a nightowl and my wife enjoys her beauty sleep so the silent watching using the headphones keep us both happy. My only complaint is having to set aside a perfectly good Roku to make room for this one. Keep up the good work Roku!

I find that if I don't use it for a week or so, the home screen will freeze, and I have to unplug the power and plug it back in. And it needs a lot of bandwith to prevent constant buffering.
Pros: Has Smartphone App
Cons: Home Screen Freeze

We use this as our main device for HD TV with Hulu plus and Netflix and the hundreds of other sites with Thousands of movies and shows. I will never go back to Cable or Sat. Which I used for about 30yrs. Sick of paying for comericals with Cable and Sat. The product is very easy and compact.

Every TV should have one

Mainly purchased this product for the headphone feature because my hearing isn't so great. Since I watch TV long after everyone goes to bed the volume was disturbing some of my family but with this product I never disturb anyone. Did find the battery life to be shortened by using the headphone feature but it is easily corrected by investing in rechargeable batteries. Excellent streaming and such a wide variety of channels can be added.

This model lets you use your 5 GHz band of a dual-band wireless router, freeing up your 2.4 GHz bandwidth for the rest of your devices. Mine is on the other side of my house from the router, and gets a strong signal consistently. Add Plex to the mix, and you have the best streaming experience available. Great product.
