The best Roku yet

Teleported straight from a launch Roku to the Roku 3. Huge performance difference, and generally better. I'm constantly using the Amazon Cloud Player for music. Prefer ATV's Netflix interface, but this one is still solid and usable. Remote is lightning-fast, but it uses wifi for connecting and thus requires infrared for universal remotes. And the IR is slooooow if you're using one. I've also had it lock up occasionally. I expect those kinks to get worked out over time. Overall, still a screaming deal. Have recommended to many people in the past, will continue doing so in the future.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Super-fast Remote, Attractive Design
Cons: Slow With Infrared Remote, Occasional Lockups, No Bluetooth Remote

I have no cable or even basic television. With my Netflix and Amazon Prime and Spotify membership I use my Roku everyday and love it. I own another brand device but it's sitting in storage, my Roku is so much better!
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Simple Controls, Fast Setup

It's better than Cable

THis is a good product, but would be better is the surround sound worked with all channels and if it would pick up the router through walls better and not have to keep buffering.
Pros: Simple Controls, Attractive Design, Fast Setup
Cons: Poor Router Strength, Does Not Improve Audio/Video, Surround Sound

Lightning Killed My Roku 3, now I grieve

I loved my Roku 3. The private listening remote was amazing, since i could watch movies in our bedroom after my wife went to sleep. Also, I didn't have to worry about action movies waking our 1 year old down the hall. The streaming was lightning fast, which is ironic since lightening is what killed my Roku 3. It was plugged into an old surge protecter and we got hit by a storm. I tried to turn my Roku on that next night. Nothing. Now I grieve my Roku every night. I brought my apple tv (purchased before my Roku 3) up from the living room, but it's just not the same...

Fast and Fun

Don't like and am frustrated that I can't use the HBO Go app because Roku and DirecTV don't have any partnership. I subscribe to HBO through DirecTV and it would be nice for me to watch my HBO shows in my other rooms where I have my Roku boxes hooked-up. That's my biggest beef. I own 3 Roku Boxes and Roku should offer discounts to previous buyers which they don't.

Much improved over the Roku 2! Faster all around. We've had only a couple of problems. Each only once. Nothing noteworthy at all. The picture and sound thou are improved! What your viewing starts faster, pauses better etc. Better viewing experience.
