Out of the box and fully functional in about 10 minutes. Streaming movies, podcasts is a snap. Really awesome that you can now plug in headphones to the remote control. Faster than the earlier Roku!

I use my Roku 3 for streaming Netflix. I have tried a half dozen different Video Streaming devices and none can compare to Roku. I have two of them and love them.

I have a subscription to ACORN tv and Amazon Prime which my Roku streams and that is great. The selections on tv shows are a little behind the times and the movies are not new but that is more a subscription company problem than a Roku decision. The biggest problem I have is the "freezing" and restarts. I had hoped to drop my DISH subscription but after two hours of watching the programs start to freeze and restart or the whole thing has to be reset to finish watching. Also the Syfy channel is nothing but "clips" so fairly useless and there is no MSNBC so canceling DISH will have to wait. I think the technology is a great step though and enjoy watching streaming tv every day. Thank you.

Missing some sorely needed features

We use this mainly for netflix. I would prefer if it had a youtube channel since my Visio has a sluggish version I am forced to use. Also wish it had XBMC since I'm being forced to use another device to access my networked shares.
