I can't believe how liberating it is to NOT deal with DVDs - waiting for the mail, putting the disc back in the mail . . . limited # of movies at home, etc. PLUS - I'm saving $ every month with my streaming plans.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Compact design, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design

I upgraded from Roku 2. The added features and improved remote made this upgrade a very pleasant surprise.

Probably one of the best out there, definitely the best Roku. It has been staying connected to my wifi longer than it used to. It was losing it's connection daily. Now it stays connected for a week or two at a time.
Pros: Remote Works Through Wifi, Fast Setup, Simple Controls, Headphone Jack In Remote
Cons: Remote Uses Up Batteries, Loses connection

I mainly watch Netflix and Amazon with Roku and it works great. The only thing is that I wish it had a regular flat remote since it is always falling of my chair.

I have a roku in my living room and in my bedroom. I first started streaming movies and tv with an apple TV, but found that I was spending a lot of money on shows on Itunes, but I am an apple girl.... Until I went to buy an apple TV for my Dad and the sales rep told me about the Roku 3 and all the free channels and HBOGO and Amazon Prime. I bought one for my dad and one for myself. You can do trials of any of the pay channels but there are SO MANY great free channels like PBS (HELLO! Downton Abbey!!!) and music and sports channels, any genre you can think of. Super easy to set up, hook up. I was able to reduce my cable bill to basic cable plus HBO (Needed Game Of Thrones) and am saving so much money, because I have wifi, I do not have cable in the bedroom but I have the roku and I have all these great shows...just love, love!
Pros: Great selection, Great Shows, Simple Controls, So many channels, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup
