I use the Roku as an alternative to cable and save so much more money. New channels are always being added, most of them are free, the others have low monthly cost. It is definitely the wave of the future, and budget friendly. I recommend Roku to every one!

Awesome streaming machine

We use two of them to stream movies and tv series. The great part is the user interface and the ease of use for the kids.

I love my roku. So simple to use & great entertainment. I have decressed my satellite program package to just the basic channels and am quite happy. I have also saved about $50 a month.

There were quite a few stations to add & that is good & bad. Finding content can be difficult. If this is add on to cable, would be great--I was drop kicking cable out to use alternative & this didn't do it. Liked the remote & headphone option & it worked great. There can be problem with HDMI cable handshake that requires cable to disconnect & re-connect. Not my thing to keep messing with it. More great & good than bad but some issues need help.
Pros: Piece Was Compact, Headphone Plugin Great, It Was Simple To Set Up
Cons: Content Hard To Find, Gliche On Some Channels, Handshake Problem Wcord, 1 At A Time Add Stations

Our Roku 3 is extremely easy to set up and operate. I especially like the head phone feature built into the controller, very handy. My wife and I are amazed at how many viewing and listening options are available through the Roku 3. The picture and audio quality is exceptional.

This is an upgrade from the original roku for me. I liked that one enough to buy the upgrade, and it is sure worth it! Much faster and easier to use. Easy and quick to set up.
