The memory card slot and the USB port are great additions to the device. The gaming aspect is also great.I get tons and tons of use out this device.

Roku 3 was very easy to set up. We bought one for our family room and soon bought another for our bedroom. We love the earphones, especially for the bedroom one. It reduced our cable bill dramatically.

Overall, this is very good product. My only nitpick, so far, is with the controller buttons. I am used to the OK button being in the center of the directional buttons, like in my Roku 2 XD.
Pros: Easy to use, Improved Audio/Video, Lots of free channels, Fast Setup

It's my first ROKU so I have nothing to compare it to. I love the ease of set up. The instruction book is written like someone is sitting there with you. No obscure technical stuff. After my one time investment of $100 for the ROKU, my monthly bill for TV is $18. Used to be $60. Streaming is the way to go. Make local stations available and you'll put some folks out of business.

Cons: Needs Occasional Reboot
