Too much signal loss

Live shows keep losing the signal. I bought Roku 3 to watch live programming I don't get anymore because I refuse to pay satellite or cable prices and don't want all the trash and garbage that tv has on it anymore. But whenever I watch QVC or HSN hsn2 I lose the signal and it keeps asking me if I am still watching. This is very aggravating as I want to watch these live programs for more than an hour at a time. This needs to be repaired and remedied by Roku!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

doesn't work with Satellite

I bought this about a month ago and was excited about lowering our TV cost. What u found was that even with download speeds of 5mgbps on satellite the roku was always buffering or loading making the experience unbearable. We feel like it was a complete waste of money. They don't tell you that it doesn't work well with satellite.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great new Roku 3 experience

I purchased my first Roku about four months ago. So when Roku 3 came out, it seemed like the perfect time to get one for our other TV. The new interface offers much easier navigation and ability to search for shows and movies. It also feels much faster and even with just a wireless connection streams without any hitches. My wife is a night owl and likes the new headphone jacks when she comes to bed late (and so do I.) Great job Roku, keep up the good work!
Pros: Video selection, Great value, Fast performance, Easy to set up, Easy to use

Caution: Addictive!!!

Started with one and now have four!!! Office, man cave, living room and bedroom. Having trouble remembering what regular tv is like. Do watch the news on cable but that's about it. Did have trouble with wifi to begin with but putting it on a high shelf solved that problem!
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Attractive Design
Cons: Can't think of one

Plex + Subtitles = No good

Works for streaming things like Netflix. Was hoping to get my PC away from the TV using the Roku and Plex. Unfortunatley, I have a lot of foreign content with subtitles and the Roku blew them up to unreadable proportions and offers no subtitle control options.
Pros: Simple Controls, Fast Setup, Money Back Gaurantee
Cons: Can't Adjust Subtitles, Streaming From Pc No Good

Big Fan of Roku

I was a fairly early adopter for the Roku HD, and I have been a huge fan since I got my first one. I strayed from the reservation to try a streaming LG blueray player, only to realize how much more user-friendly and reliable the Roku experience was. The Roku 3 takes most of the advantages of the Roku HD and adds better video, load times, and an improved interface. A quibble: I preferred the old remote layout, where the "Enter" key was in the center of the directional pad. A bigger issue is that a lot of audio tracks in Pandora are too overdriven, resulting in a distorted sound. I don't recall having this issue with the Roku HD, and it's a bit of a pain. Otherwise, I am a continuing fan of the product line.
Pros: Attractive Design, Stupidly Easy To Use, Simple Controls, Has Angry Birds Space, Fast Setup, Unbelievable Load Times, Improved Audio/Video
Cons: Preferred The Old Remote, Pandora Audio Distorts, Pandora Sound Distortion
