I really thought that there would be a lot more free movies and television shows, however unless you subscribe to hulu plus, amazon, Netflix there really isn't that much. I would also like to make comment on the ear buds, I love that they hook in through the remote allows from ease of movement, they are however too small (not enough length between the buds) making insertion into your ears difficult even impossible. I had to go from the back of my head and still barely long enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Uses SO MUCH Internet

When I was updating the Roku's system, it hogged up so much of my internet, that it shut down our wifi. We had to disconnect everything to get the wifi to work again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The first one burned out after 3 months, thought it was a fluke, bought another one. It burned out after 1 month. Other than that I loved it.

I have had the Roku 3 about a year..setup was easy with my DSL...I have had problems with the selections getting stuck as I go through the movies and having to unplug it to reset...it maybe my DSL! All in all I enjoy the movie selections and don't regret buying iit!

I had it 4 months and had an audio problem with the unit. Only a replacement would fix it, but support told me it only has a 90 day warranty. So now I am stuck with a non functioning unit. For device that is all solid state, I figured I did not need an extended warranty. Turns out the design of the unit was not as high quality as expected. I recommend everyone purchases another brand media extender.

Great Features and Easy to Set up!

I purchased my Roku 3 at Best Buy about a month and a half ago. Excellent buy! Much better and cheaper than paying for cable! Incredibly easy to set up and great amount of different channels! I love it! Definitely worth the price! Great alternative for those looking to save money on cable or are bored of just watching/ being restricted by local channels.
