Who needs cable

Wanted the "3" because of the headset but never bother with it. Bought it for winter home in Panama. NO commercials. It works great but Canada gets short changed for channel options. Did I mention "no commercials". Likely not ROKU's fault just our nanny government protecting us from who knows what.
Pros: Fast Setup, Simple Controls, No Commercials, Attractive Design
Cons: Limited choices in Canada

We watch all our TV shows and movies on Roku. We cancelled our cable and are saving well over $75/mo. by using the monthly paid services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, etc...Love this product!

I use it to watch stuff off of Netflix and Amazon prime. I also use it to watch the movies I have on my computer. I have learned how to watch youtube as well as other media off of my smartphone using the twonky app. I wish that there was a channel dedicated to youtube though. This isn't going to kill cable just yet, but it is getting there. I don't have a ps3 or xbox or smart tv, but otherwise I find the roku to be a much better device than apple tv my dad has.
