Almost there....

The first step towards cutting cable. This is a very powerful tool and the interfaces for hulu/netflix/MLB network are excellent. Better than the apple tv in that it can play certain media files. Not as good as the Western Digital Media player as it can't play all media files.
Pros: Plays Some Media Files, Lots Of Channelsoptions, Simple Controls, Great Ipadipod Interface, Fast Setup
Cons: No Avi Support, Need Better File Player

This is my third Roku and it is faster and better than ever. We have successfully cut the cable and gone with Roku/Netflix/Hulu for a fraction of the cost.

This is the greatest and most ground-breaking little gizmo since the VCR. Yeah, yeah ... I know there are TVs, game consoles, DVRs (yadda yadda) out there that stream content to your TV, but this is what I started out with and this is what I have. And I will buy a new one when the new bell-and-whistles 'Roku Whatever' comes out ... This is the third one I've purchased. First one: Plain vanilla version, still very cool. Inherited by the the front room TV when I got the Roku2. Then the Roku2 went on the front room TV and the original moved to my brother's bedroom when I bought the Roku3. ALL OF THEM are still working. Lots of 'Bang for the buck' here. And just recently they added Amazon Cloud Player. "It just doesn't get any better than this!!"
Pros: Great Channel Lineup, Very easy to use, Attractive Design, Improved Audio/Video, Simple Controls, Fast Setup

audio And Video Better Than My Hd Cable Service. This Is Going To Be My New Primary Source Of Tv. Goodbye Cable And Sattilite Service Roku Is Definatly For Us. Only A Few Subscriptions And You Are Set For All Intertainment And news.

We don't even use cable/satellite anymore. This box has freed us from that money pit. Using this and over-the-air TV, we save almost $70/month. The old Roku XS was nice - but this was definitely worth upgrading and replacing.

Primarily use movie channels.
Pros: Fast Setup, Quick Return To Home, Easy Access To Channels, Simple Controls
Cons: Many channels are useless

Started using Rocku 3 when it came with my dishworld connection. I have loved it. It connects both wireless and via ethernet cable to internet. The feature such as headphone jack on remote is awesome. I dont disturb anyone at home with loud sound. I would have loved channels such as youtube, ESPN3. For such channels and streaming websites, the product can be enhanced for WiDi connectivity or simply display portability from PC within same wifi network. There are channels available, but they are not simple to setup and complesx in design.
