this is your best bet if you do not want to add an extra cable box kids love it. One simple fee you get many apps. some apps for free another you have to pay for either way it works out for kids.

Such a great player needs more robust channels very basic in comparison to its counter parts on other systems and more official channels lots of private ones you have to hunt for but they make it sooo worth it

My family loves the ROKU 3!! We made the decision to go cable free a couple more this ago and couldn't be happier! My kids love the cartoons, games, and how easy it is for them to use. I personally love the app I got for the controller so when my 3 year old hides it I can pull it up on my phone and control it from there. Very pleased with the entire product.

Cons: Wish There Were Nore Chan, Needs more channels

Amazing little cube

After reading CNet reviews I decided to try one. I opened the box and thought it was pretty small but I soon realized that it doesn't have to be any bigger. Setup was simple and the picture and sound quality are second to none. Great design!

I love this product. I wish I could get more channels like Animal Planet ,Nova, Lifetime etc. I'm sure you are tying to get those channels. With that said there is enough programming out there that I do not need to be paying over !00 per month to watch the Tube. I like paying for what I want not a "bundle " the cable companies want me to buy. Thanks.

good unit but it causes major problems with router and about shuts down computer and my other roku 2 when in use. the remote eats batteries once a month. good unit if the only thing you have in your home. if you have a computer or other roku's do not get the roku 3

My one complaint is that they allow too many channels to be added to the channel store that have low quality content. They should have stricter controls over what channels make it to the store for quality purposes. But you are not forced to add or watch those channels so that's a plus.
