I found that after receiving my Roku device, I no longer watch much cable or broadcast television. I am canceling my cable channels in the very near future. This devise is a bit faster and more consistant operationally than the Apple TV, as well as having 10x the content. Buy one!. It is well worth the 99.00.

very simply to setup. had for about 3 months now. never had any issued. this is the first roku i owned so cannot compare to older models but roku3 is very fast and works like a charm

I am canceling my cable because there is more, better content on my Roku. I used to spend $140 a month on premium cable - the Roku was positively a profitable investment. Boom!

Great Entertainment in a Little Box???

This is my second Roku. I had the one released prior to this model. I LOVED it, never had any problems, easy set up, continuously adding new channels, etc. With this great luck I decided to get the new Roku 3. There are many aspects about the Roku 3 that were improved from aspects that were great to begin with except I am having one serious problem. At least 3 times during every movie or program I watch it kicks itself offline and I have to reconnect. This is extremely frustrating. Love everything else about it but this one problem is frustrating enough to ruin my entire opinion. This NEVER happened with my last Roku. Also, Not being able to get HBO GO with this device through Xfinity is ticking me off!!!

Cons: Kicks Offline Constantly

I use this instead of subscribing to cable. While most of the time, it's great - it has a few glaring flaws. 1) The Hulu text entry is atrocious. The alphabet, laid out horizontally? It takes ages to enter anything. 2) It freezes up fairly frequently. So I can't have a clean install behind the TV. Have to pull it out and dangle it next to the TV to reboot it. On the other hand, I'm spending TEN PERCENT as much to watch TV as I was before. No more expensive cable/satellite setup. And since I don't care about sports - WIN.
Pros: Attractive Design, Simple Controls
Cons: Loses connection, Freezes, Hulu Text Search Is Bad, Inconvenient To Reboot
