Love My Roku 3

Got the Roku 3 primarily for viewing programs on The Blaze TV. Episodes viewed on my computer were too choppy and audio was sometimes out of sync. With my Roku 3 the quality is excellent on my HDTV.
Pros: Improved Audio/Video, Fast Setup, Simple Controls

Who needs cable?

I've been using a Roku for a couple years now and recently adjusted to living without cable. It's saves me about $50 or more a month and with entertainment slow moving towards this type of system, the Roku only gets better and better. The Roku is super easy to setup and you can bring it anywhere you have an internet connection. There have been many times I've brought my Roku to a hotel and quickly logged into the WiFi to watch all of my favorite shows, on demand. I see the Roku as the future of television.
Pros: Portable, Fast Setup, Improved Audio/Video, Attractive Design, Responsive, Simple Controls, Cheaper than Cable
Cons: No Native Youtube Support

My only use of Roku 3 is to stream Netflix movies etc. files from the Netflix website to my TV. I am very pleased with the performance in what it does. However, I am disappointed by what is misssing. Much of the Info available online at the Netflix website (e.g. cast ids, more detailed blurbs on films, etc.) is not streamed to my computer by my Roku 3. I find it inconvenient and very annoying to take my computer online to get the missing info. I wish Roku would provide the missing info

The Roku3 replaced my still functioning original Roku. It's faster to access content, it can stream photos and music from my phone, the interface is better, and I have access to more channels since upgrading. I wish I would have done it sooner.

Got this when I cut the dish - I already had an AppleTV but needed Amazon Prime. It does it all, and the unified search makes it easy to find what you want to watch easily. Couple it with NetFlix, HuluPlus and Amazon Prime and you're all set.
